Today’s review is the Jensen JiMS-525i HD Radio docking station. You can charge, listen, tag, and watch videos, all in the dock for your iPod. With HD radio, and S-video out, this is more than your average night stand clock. For $150, you get a alarm clock packed with features. With iTunes tagging, you can keep a record of a song you like on the radio, transfer it to your iPod, and purchase the song later.
The sound quality could be better for 150 dollars. For only two basic non tweeters, the sound is as if you were wearing headphones. Very dull, noisy, bass-less sound. But hey, it’s really for waking you up, right? From the front, your able to set the two alarm clocks, the EQ, and function. The stereo supports aux in too. The bright 2.5 x 1 inch LCD displays your local weather(if you buy the supporting hardware, 25$ elsewhere) time, and your iPod charge status. I recommend lowering the brightness, you’ll be sorry at night if you don’t.
You can plug in your AM/FM antennas, S-Video out, AUX in, and headphones. S-Video quality is LAME, displaying the 400×300 screen size, and is terrible if you try to blow it up to fit the screen. Maybe because the iPod format? I’m really not sure on that part. Oh and a quick note, thats not a speaker output, that’s for the AM antenna.
Overall this is a good product, and great for a little nightstand device. The price is ok, and so is the sound quality.
My overall rating? 7.3 out of 10 stars!

It looks like a boom box from the 60’s..
I agree with Neel… *quick buzz-kill* You said the plug was for an AM antenna but it says on the boombox (in the picture) FM ANTENNA xD
Not that, i Know thats FM, im talking about the AM one
$150 is LIGHT YEARS beyond “ok”
