I don’t yet know why, but I could honestly care less. Appulo.us was going downhill ever since the troll bridge. Even after the troll bridge and the server changes, it was still just as slow (maybe a little faster, but still slow). But now, Installous no longer takes you to Appulo.us, it takes you to Apptrackr. It is the best thing to happen to pirat… err… “Try-before-you-buy” for a long time. Don’t believe me? Tap the jolly green giant and see for yourself!
ProSwitcher and OverBoard developer chpwn (at least that is what he is known as on Twitter) has created, yet another, iPhone changing app. An infinite dock. The dock works like the regular iPhone dock when it comes to adding and removing icons, but, when you pass 4, you can then scroll an infinitely expanding dock. Yes, you can put all the apps in the app store on your dock. Why? Because 5 was not enough, 7 was ugly, and stacks were overrated. The app/mod is for sale on the Cydia Store for $0.99.
IF YOU HAVE DESKTOP/SMS BACKGROUND INSTALLED (like I did) YOU WILL NEED TO UNINSTALL IT FOR THIS APP/MOD TO WORK!!!
If you’re like me, and own a first gen iTouch, most likely your experiencing a ton of crashing, lags, and random outbursts of “FML’s”
Well, with a couple of tips, you can get your iPod in decent condition. You’ll need about 5 bucks, and some spare time. Oh, and one note. It’s obvious that if you restore your jailbroken iTouch, and keep it with stock firmware, you will be faster. However, if you want to keep jailbroken (good idea) there are some apps you can use to help speed up your iPod. So with that aside, lets get started.
iPhone app developers Appvent have really gotten into the spirit of the holidays, releasing a calender on their site giving you one free app everyday until Christmas! The catch? The app is only free for one day, then it will just return to its original price. Be sure to bookmark their site and check in everyday to get your free apps! Happy Holidays!
First there was FML, then there was TFLN, then there was MLIA. Now from the creator of the original comes the new site Apple Rejected Me (or ARM for short.)

On this site, iPhone developers can tell the tales of what their iPhone app was supposed to do and why it got rejected. Then you, the reader, get to vote and comment on the ARM. Of course there are going to be people who post random things; but once the serious developers that got rejected check out this site, I feel it could persuade Apple into double checking before rejecting.
Here’s some of the posts from the site:
-I made a App tha allowed the Iphone be able to tell if you had bad breath. Apple said: “this is not supposed to work” ARM
-I made an app of Tic-Tac-Toe for the iphone. Apple sent me a letter saying it was too confusing for the average user. ARM.
-I made an App that allowed people to access a mobile version of applerejectedme.com, to read ARM’s and to write ARM’s. ARM.
-i made an app that incorporated your contacts with google voice. ARM
-I started making an app. One minute later, Apple sent me an email saying “Don’t even think about it”. ARM.
UPDATE: You can now download the ARM dashboard widget and follow @AppleRejectedMe on Twitter
Alright, so I’ve been seeing posts around Twitter stating that they found out the iPod touch is getting camera on 4th Gen iTouch. First off, lemme’ just say that it’s never going to happen.
Go ahead, prove me wrong with your “sources” but I have pure-buisness like proof. I call it: Common Sense.
Just think at it from a corporation stand-point. You want to make money, no? So why would you sell two same products, just ones cheaper? You wouldn’t, that’s why. Let me dumb it down for you. If the iPod had a camera, then it’s exactly like the iPhone. It can make calls, go on the internet, and so on. However, with the iTouch, all you need is a constant hotspot. Verizon and Sprint sell them, they’re called MiFi. So if people do this, then Apple and AT&T will loose money.
Think about it that way, and you will see why the iTouch will never get a camera.
**no offence chris**

Okay, so we all remember the big rumors just about a month ago that the iPod Touch 3G would have a camera. Also, as we all know, that just turned into the biggest disappointment that ever came from Apple. Well now, just a short month later, and almost a year before the next Apple iPod event, the iPod Touch rumors have resurfaced. Pictures like the one seen above are starting to pop up everywhere. This one, featured on covinoandrich.com has got many nonbelievers wondering. It features a side-by-side comparison of an iPod Touch 2G-3G next to a (real?) iPod Touch 4G with a camera in the middle, the same camera that was just added to the iPod Nano 5G. Whether you believe it or not, there are going to be many more photos just like this one that will arise in the next year. Get ready!
You have probably seen stories about keeping your iPhone safe posted all over the web, but we at iPwnAge can not stress this enough! One of the most popular devices in the world is also the favorite of many “hackers”, many of which have no idea what they are doing. When you jailbreak your iDevice, you are opening it up allowing for open-development (think of it as unlocking safe and leaving it open when you are done). And as much as you don’t want to believe it, yes, there are many viruses for the iPhone. Most of which are harmless, but many of which have the potential to steal your contacts, your phone number, even your credit-card information. Plus, lets not forget, your iPhone can also get stolen (duh). So without further ado, the steps you should take to stay safe.
Fret no longer! Emilio Pelàez, the programmer of the app, has created an iPod Classic emulator that has just been submitted to the App Store and the Cydia Store for $1.99. Called iClassic, this app/mod will allow you to browse your iPhone or iPod Touch in the same menu format as the iPod Classic (that includes playing music) as well as browsing with an onscreen click wheel as opposed to swiping. Some small downsides, version 1.0 will not include apps or videos. iClassic is now on the Cydia Store, just search “iClassic” and then download!

Make it ra1n, with the new 3.1.x jailbreaker, blackra1n.
First off, blackra1n is the SIMPLEST jailbreaking method yet. All you do is click. You read right, click.
No DFU mode, No firmware selection, nothing, nada, zilch.
I mean, you don’t even need a tutorial to use it, and if you do, get to the doctor A.S.A.P, you have a disease called Dumbass Syndrome.

And what’s even more awesome is that they include the new Rock Your Phone app, Rock. I am telling you that this is THE best Packaging application that I have ever touched. The scrolling and overall feel is a bit awkward, but in a few updates, it should be all fixed. Oh and did I mention that it supports ALL packages, including Cydia’s APT based sources.
Trust me, this is the new crusher, I will do an application review on it later, not now
Oh, if you read the Jailbreaking log, this is what is says:
INFO: send command started
INFO: file opened
ioctl: 0
INFO: command geohot sent
INFO: I JUST DROPPED IT LIKE ITS HOT
WARN: wtf who called this?
INFO: global callback finished
INFO: unused callback called
