I know that it’s a little early in the week for another app review but I had to put this out to the world.
Yes, the app is Pocket Devil, no, it was not created by Bolt Creative. It was made by another company called Eye Dip. Is it any good? I’m trying very hard to hold back all the insults I could throw at this app, an easier meaning? It’s the worst app I’ve ever seen in my life.
Let’s start with the Pros:
1. Nothing
Now let’s go with the Cons:
1. It’s extremely unoriginal, complete copy of Pocket God but worse
2. Lag, even jailbroken, Pocket God works fine, Jailbroken or Unjailbroken, Pocket Devil lags like hell (pun intended)
3. Animations are horrible, when you lit the “Mugat2’s” (Retarded name for devils) they didn’t burn, the ground they were standing on burned, then the Mugat2’s slowly disappeared.
4. Extremely offensive to Christians, the guillotine (structure used to chop off heads) had the numbers “666″ on the top. If you didn’t know, 666 is the number for Anti-Christ, I am an atheist and I STILL find it offensive.
5. Overpriced, it costs 99 cents when this piece of worthless crap should be free. Even if it was free I’d delete it for space. Hell if they stuck a Pocket Devil in every iPhone/iPod Touch and made you PAY 99 cents to get rid of it I would.
Don’t get this worthless crap, if you want to, get it from Installous and see how ridiculous it is, if you think it’s not, comment here and give me a list of pros.
My overall rating? I’m gonna find this company and blow up their entire building some day

DON’T Buy it…..
I recently reviewed the Tekkeon Mobile Charger, and I was so impressed with it, I got this: The Tekkeon myPower MP3750. This, by far is THE best item I’ve ever had. I swear.
This charger is capable of charging a laptop and any USB powered appliance. Better yet, it’s expandable.
Specifications
Weight: 15.4 oz (or 32 oz with extendable battery)
Dimensions: 3.32″ (W) x 6.85″ (L) x .89″ (D)
Battery Type: Rechargeable lithium polymer
Lithium Content: 4 grams (MP3750)
4 grams (MP3450-10)
Charging Time: 4 hours
Voltage Selection: 10 to 19V for main output,
5V for USB port
Output Power: 50Wh

The extra usage time you get out of your laptop with the MP3750 depends on the kind of laptop you are using. A large 15″ laptop will gain about anywhere between one and two hours. My small 10″ netbook was able to run about 3 hours longer off a fully charged MP3750. However, you can purchase the expander and double your power (MP3750-10)
It’s $150 Dollars, there, I said it. The expander is gonna kill you with an extra $80. If your a business man who does constant cross-country flights, knock yourself out, this is the best item/charger that I’ve had. Now I haven’t had enough time to see how many times this charges the iPod touch or the iPhone from dead to full, but I can tell you I tried, and forgot to continue it after 5 charges. Buy a USB splicer and you can charge a GPS, cell phone, iPod touch, and a Bluetooth headset all at the same time, while your charging your laptop(Which I did)

My overall rating? 9 out of 10 stars(Price is pretty high)

This week’s IAR shall be the app BLOONS TOWER DEFENSE<—-Please notice the caps (I made them caps so you would notice).
Ok, as we know, Bloons Tower Defense is a tower defense game. If you do NOT know that, then I suggest reading the above sentence until you understand it. If you do NOT understand it I suggest consulting your physciatrist immediately. Now, continuing, Bloons Tower Defense is a little different then your average tower defense game. Most games for one, you beat up mosters using towers. In Bloons TD, you pop bloons which are pretty much the same thing as balloons except instead of having health, they spawn other bloons. There are 8 towers/ monkeys. Each has two upgrades with two different upgrade paths which means you can upgrade 4 times. There’s also items that last for one round such as monkey glue (slows down bloons), road spikes (pop bloons), and explosive pineapples (explode after 3 seconds of putting one down). You get a different amount of lives, money, and a different price for each tower depending on which difficulty you selected. There are also 4 map packs that are locked. To get them you must beat one full map pack.
This game is what I would call one of the best tower defenses. However, it’s minor faults cause some bad reviews. For one, it’s hard to press the pause button. Two, sometimes when you try to quickly drag a tower for a last minute guard it drags some other random tower. Overall, it’s a great game but the faultiness keeps it from a 9.9.
My overall rating? 8.8 out of 10 stars!

It’s been some time that AT&T MMS has been out, however, the future isn’t looking too good. Since the launch date of September 25th, there has been many problems, most of them reporting that it just doesn’t work, or it stopping at 90%. But now it’s out, good.
![]()
“To enable MMS messaging, connect your iPhone to your computer and click “Check for Update” in iTunes. Once the update is completed, restart your iPhone by turning it off then on again. Note that iPhone OS 3.1 is required so you may need to update your software first.” First off, let me tell you this, there is probably around 30-40% of people STILL on >3.0 OS. Some might say, well it’s their fault for not updating, after all, it IS free for the iPhone.
According to AT&T the prices are:
| For individuals | For FamilyTalk | Pay Per Use |
| Unlimited: $20 | Unlimited: $30 | $0.20 per text message |
| 1500 Messages: $15 | $0.30 per picture or video message | |
| 200 Messages: $5 |
Since it took me so long to get in an app review, I’m treating you to another app review (How great am I?).
This week’s app review is a special one. From the Tap Tap series is the latest edition, Tap Tap 3! First off, when you start the game it greets you with a part from Tap Tap Domination. The only really annoying thing I noticed was the avatar creation. That really pissed me off. Yes maybe some people actually use the avatar but some people (like me), just really don’t give a damn about the avatar and really couldn’t care less. They should’ve have given you a choice to make one or not to make one like in Tap Tap 2. When you click on an option it changes it from the regular sound to a “ding” (Yes, I know I notice the most ridiculous and useless things). There are free featured songs of the week and some songs you have to pay for (which I find a little annoying). New artists like Fall Out Boy and LMFAO. Stability and graphics are still top notch. You can also use items like 16X. When you pause the game now you have to click WAY higher. I also noticed a chat feature which I thought was pretty superfluous. I really don’t think people will waste their time chatting if they actually get the game (Feel free to prove me wrong). You also level up in Tap Tap 3 which I was like, “WTF?” (Again feel free to prove me wrong). I don’t see how leveling up can help in Tap Tap 3. It’s based on skill and I’m not exactly sure how you can “level up” your skill in real life. Aside from all the small annoying things it’s a good game with great songs. One last thing I want to address was that the 2 player mode was A LOT better. Unlike the rest of the Tap Taps where it was pretty easy to miss this one was incredible. Overall, maybe worth 99 cents.

My overall rating? 8.5 out of 10!

Sorry I haven’t been posting lately. I’ve been really busy (not lonesome) but now that I have some free time I’ve decided it’s time for another iPwnAge Mega App Review. Today’s IMAR, the Smule series (with the exception of I Am T-Pain and Leaf Trombone because they don’t really fit in).
1. Sonic Lighter
Priced at 99 cents is the beginning of the Smule apps and a classic one, Sonic Lighter. Now a virtual lighter is nothing special. By this time a handful of companies had already made virtual lighters. HOWEVER, (ß Notice I used caps) Smule was the first company to take the iDevice’s technology even further. You struck flints to ignite the lighter, and you could change the size of the flame, tilt it to go different directions, and even put out the flame by blowing into the mic. It even goes further than that. Hold the valve to create a blowtorch flame and then ignite other iPhones with the blowtorch flame. You can also ignite other apps like Electric Smoke or Smule’s other app, Sonic Boom. Lastly, you could also change the color of the flame. Not a bad app, possibly worth 99 cents.
2. Sonic Boom
Priced at 99 cents is what I call, Sonic Lighter’s partner. As I have mentioned in the previous paragraph, you can use Sonic Lighter to ignite Sonic Boom. Sonic Boom is pretty much an explosive simulator. What makes it interesting is how you can change the size of the fuse, zoom in and out, and of course change the speed of the explosion. You can blow out the fuse when it’s ignited or you can blow the debris around after the explosion. One thing to remember, never listen to the explosions with your headphones. I would say this app is worth 99 cents if you like explosions.

3. Sonic Vox
Priced at $1.99 is the voice changer, Sonic Vox. Ever want to change your voice? Sonic Vox is your answer. With a pitch and echo change it alters your voice in many different ways. Use your fingers to move around the virtual pad on the iDevice’s screen to change it. You can’t change your voice on an existing call but you can change it on Skype. Not much left to say. That’s pretty much all the functions. Probably worth 99 cents.

4. Ocarina
Priced at 99 cents is the most well known Smule app and the only Smule app with its own theme on the page. It’s basically a simulation of a flute but much easier to use. Each hole represents a note and there are four holes. These four holes here can create an entire octave. You can also play actual songs with sheet music from ocarina.smule.com. You can also listen to pieces all over the world and send yours around the world too. You can also tilt to change vibration and depth. Great app for music lovers, I would say it’s worth 99 cents.

5. Zephyr
Priced at 99 cents is the modern version of the classic “Message in a Bottle”. Basically, you draw on the screen with snowflakes, stars, hearts, or clovers (while it simulates the wind sound) and you can make a message sending it to someone somewhere on the globe. That person can then reply and you can reveal your identity with a Zephyr name. You can track all your messages to where you sent them. People can also forward your message to send it to more people spreading the word. It’s a creative app, maybe worth 90 cents (Yes I know there is no such thing).

DRUM ROLL!!!
*Simulates drum roll sound*
The winner for most creative and cheap app is…
OCARINA!

I would say most effort was put into this one because of the sound simulation. I also like all the detail put into it especially the depth and vibration. It’s an easy to use app (except for people who don’t know how to blow and move their hands) that’s earned its own theme on its page.
We all know and love iHome for their iPhone and iPod products, but what happens when they mix it with the latest 5.1 surround sound stereo? You get the iHome iP1.
Sporting two woofers, the iP1 can play your beloved 50 cent beautifully. So lets get down the the specs.D
- Component out
- Two 4″ woofers
- Two silk tweeters
- 100 watts amp
- Bongiovi audio decompression (That means studio quality folks)
- ..and its got a pretty cool design
Well, decent at the most, but just the fact it is $299, that just blows it out of proportion. I rather buy something from Sony for $199 that has the same specs, and better. The sound is damn good though, for all you clarity freaks. If your dying for such, then just go buy it, but I rather stick with something else.
If you didn’t know already, the iHome comes with all adjustments for your iPod and iPhone, as well as the 30 pin dock (Duh) and charges your iDevice while docked.

My overall rating? 5.5 out of 10. (Price=demise)
